Dentistry Services
We offer a unique feline dental service at our specialised medical unit in North London, designed to make dental treatment as stress-free as possible for both you and your cat. Following a consultation with our vet to determine the most appropriate dental package, our team will arrange a convenient date for treatment. We collect your cat directly from your home in our pet ambulance, transport them safely to our unit, and carry out all necessary dental work under full anaesthesia. Once your cat has recovered later the same day, we return them home to you. You will also receive full discharge instructions and, where needed, oral pain relief to support a comfortable recovery.
An additional transport fee of £40 will be added to your invoice.
After the pre-veterinary consultation, there might be extra services recommended to ensure your cat’s well-being remains our top priority, additional charges apply.
- Pre-anaesthetic blood test
- Anxiety reducing medication
- Intravenous fluids
- Antibiotics
- Additional Pain Medication
All procedures are performed under general anesthesia with comprehensive monitoring checks in place.

Feline dental care is a crucial but often overlooked aspect of a cat’s overall health and wellbeing. Just like humans, cats can develop plaque, tartar buildup, and gum disease, which can lead to pain, tooth loss, and even more serious systemic issues affecting the heart, kidneys, and liver if bacteria enter the bloodstream.

Gingivitis is the early stage of periodontal disease in cats and when caught early enough, it’s often reversible.
Gingivitis in cats is inflammation of the gums caused by plaque and tartar buildup, often leading to red, swollen gums, bad breath, and discomfort. If left untreated, it can progress to serious dental disease. Professional descaling removes plaque and tartar above and below the gumline, reducing inflammation, improving oral health, and helping prevent further dental problems.

Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions (FORLs) are a common and painful dental condition where the tooth structure begins to break down, often causing discomfort, difficulty eating, and sensitivity. These lesions can affect one or multiple teeth and are often hidden below the gumline, making veterinary dental exams important for diagnosis. Early detection and treatment can help relieve pain and protect your cat’s oral health.
